Operations Coordinator / Account Management Representative
Location: Torrance, CA
Work Style: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) 100% Onsite for the first 3 months during training period
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $20–30/hour (DOE)

A globally recognized Japanese home appliance manufacturer is expanding its U.S. business and is seeking an Operations Coordinator / Account Management Representative to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with data, and wearing multiple hats in a collaborative environment. Entry-level candidates with strong potential are welcome to apply.
After training, employees work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
What You'll Do
- Manage and support existing distributor and dealer accounts
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners
- Process customer orders and prepare invoices
- Create reports and analyze sales data using Excel
- Coordinate with internal departments and headquarters
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Support Sales Representatives with day-to-day operations
- Assist with marketing initiatives and other cross-functional projects as needed
- Occasionally travel to customer sites or trade shows
Qualifications
Required
- Business-level English
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic PC proficiency
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred
- Sales or account management experience
- Distributor or dealer management experience
- Retail, consumer goods, food, or appliance industry experience
- Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other Excel functions
- Japanese, Korean, Chinese, or Vietnamese language skills (not required)
