IT Support Specialist

Salary: $60,000–$70,000

Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

Location: Smyrna, GA In-person for first 90 days; eligible for 1 remote day/week afterward

A Japanese company is seeking a self-sufficient IT Support Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to provide day-to-day technical support in a fast-paced business environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and user issues
  • Manage help desk tickets, user accounts, and access permissions
  • Configure and maintain workstations, printers, and peripherals
  • Perform software installations, updates, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and asset records
  • Assist with data entry and administrative support tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience required
  • Degree or coursework in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft Server environments preferred
  • Exposure to Google Workspace or Salesforce is a plus
  • Prior help desk or office administrative support experience preferred
