Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of logistics, export/import, or supply chain coordination experience
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing preferred
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, freight forwarding, and inventory control
  • Familiarity with trade compliance including EAR, ITAR, and HTS classification
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to occasionally travel and work weekends on short notice
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 100+ pounds using appropriate tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage global logistics operations and procurement coordination
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, RFQs, and change orders
  • Evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, lead time, and operational needs
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, freight terms, and service levels
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Oversee export, import, and domestic shipping documentation compliance
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international stakeholders
  • Monitor domestic and international shipments and resolve shipping issues proactively
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies, damages, and customs holds
  • Coordinate cross-border logistics planning with overseas teams
  • Oversee shipment packaging, labeling, ESD protection, and shipping material inventory
  • Track freight costs, reconcile invoices, and support logistics reporting
  • Support process improvements across logistics and purchasing operations
  • Maintain compliance records for audits and regulatory requirements
  • May be assigned other duties by managers
