About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving operational efficiency and supporting business growth by managing demand planning, inventory optimization, and order fulfillment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end supply and production planning, including shipment coordination
- Manage and communicate backorder status, providing accurate delivery timelines to internal stakeholders
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure efficiency and availability
- Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand and supply
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to support business goals
- Plan inventory for new product launches and end-of-life products
- Place purchase orders for internal, drop shipment, and service-related items
- Develop and track key metrics such as inventory levels and forecast accuracy
- Analyze gaps between forecast and actual results to improve planning processes
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review production and shipment status
- Maintain MRP parameters and master data throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
- Mentor and support junior team members
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or order management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with Excel, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and Salesforce is a plus
- Lean Six Sigma or APICS certification is a plus
- Bilingual in Japanese and English (required)
