Real Estate Asset Manager – Japanese Bilingual

Japanese real estate services company specializing in the revitalization and distribution of real estate properties seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Manager to oversee their real estate portfolio's accounting and property management companies, as well as reporting to investors.

Title: Asset Manager – Japanese Bilingual

Working Location: New York, NY * On-site position

Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000 (DOE)

analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and scrutinize Property Management (PM) reports, focusing on building relationships with partner companies, and ensuring high-quality standards and our clients.
• Prepare Asset Management (AM) reports for building owners while meeting deadlines and responding to follow-up inquiries.
• Process payments, including invoice verification, internal approval confirmation, and voucher creation
• Handle all associated paperwork and administrative tasks
• Any other assigned task.

On-site duties in New York:

• Manage property management tasks, including addressing delinquencies, violations, and repair/maintenance issues.
• Provide on-site support for Property Management activities, including temporary problem-solving, property inspections, and owner-tenant interactions
• Oversee rental property management, including lease renewals and property marketing
• Manage leasing progress through effective communication with partner companies
• Monitor and calculate leasing rents, with a focus on RS (Rent Stabilization) and Regal Rent computations
• Execute, support, and manage various application processes related to property management

Working Hours, Working Style

9AM to 6PM *Meetings with the Japan side at night 2 times/week
