architecture, engineering governance, platform operations, and technology execution of a regulated digital finance platform.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This individual will serve as the company's senior internal engineering leader, overseeing the full technology stack, including mobile applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, vendor-delivered solutions, production operations, and and infrastructure are being built from the ground up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Engineering Leadership & Architecture<\/p>\n Own the end-to-end engineering architecture across:<\/p>\n Mobile applications<\/p>\n Backend services and APIs<\/p>\n Cloud infrastructure<\/p>\n Internal operational platforms<\/p>\n Third-party and partner-delivered solutions<\/p>\n Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and governance frameworks.<\/p>\n Partner closely with executive leadership to translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.<\/p>\n Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering<\/p>\n Lead the design and governance of cloud environments, including:<\/p>\n Identity and access management (IAM)<\/p>\n Secrets management<\/p>\n Monitoring and logging<\/p>\n Networking<\/p>\n Data protection and backup strategies<\/p>\n Disaster recovery capabilities<\/p>\n Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code standards, preferably utilizing Terraform.<\/p>\n Ensure highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architecture.<\/p>\n DevOps, CI\/CD & Release Management<\/p>\n Build and oversee secure software delivery pipelines.<\/p>\n Define release controls, deployment standards, rollback procedures, and change-management processes.<\/p>\n Establish production-readiness criteria and deployment governance frameworks.<\/p>\n Reliability, Security & Operational Excellence<\/p>\n Implement observability practices across logs, metrics, alerts, traces, and dashboards.<\/p>\n Establish incident response processes, escalation procedures, runbooks, and post-incident review practices.<\/p>\n Partner with compliance and security stakeholders to ensure engineering controls align with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n Develop audit-ready operational documentation and evidence collection processes.<\/p>\n Vendor Governance<\/p>\n Provide technical leadership and oversight for external engineering and infrastructure partners.<\/p>\n Review architecture designs, technical deliverables, and production readiness.<\/p>\n Monitor delivery quality, identify risks, and drive remediation efforts where necessary.<\/p>\n Organizational Growth<\/p>\n Serve as a founding member of the leadership team.<\/p>\n Help establish future engineering hiring plans, organizational structure, and technical culture.<\/p>\n Communicate engineering progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.<\/p>\n Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related technical disciplines.<\/p>\n 5+ years of experience leading architecture, engineering standards, technical delivery, or production operations.<\/p>\n Deep expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.<\/p>\n Strong background in:<\/p>\n Backend systems and APIs<\/p>\n Distributed systems<\/p>\n Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)<\/p>\n CI\/CD pipelines<\/p>\n Observability and monitoring<\/p>\n Production support and incident management<\/p>\n Experience operating within regulated, security-sensitive, or audit-focused environments.<\/p>\n Demonstrated success managing engineering delivery through internal teams and external technology partners.<\/p>\n Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences.<\/p>\n Ability to review and evaluate architecture, infrastructure, deployment pipelines, cloud security controls, and
