Mechanical Engineer (Field Engineering \/ Project Support)<\/h2>\n

A growing company serving the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer<\/strong> to provide technical application support during project development and oversee equipment installation at customer facilities. This role combines engineering, customer support, project coordination, and field installation responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Evaluate customer requirements and provide technical recommendations for equipment, products, services, training, and after-sales support.<\/li>\n
  • Support project development by estimating project costs, timelines, manpower requirements, and technical scope.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with customer training on equipment operation and technical procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Follow up with customers to ensure equipment and services meet performance expectations.<\/li>\n
  • Supervise equipment installation and coordinate contractors to ensure successful project execution.<\/li>\n
  • Read and interpret equipment layouts and engineering drawings.<\/li>\n
  • Assist senior engineers and project managers in preparing bid packages and collecting technical project information.<\/li>\n
  • Record, analyze, and summarize project costs.<\/li>\n
  • Support on-site project management and verify installation work complies with project specifications and drawings.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate technical issues among customers, contractors, and internal teams.<\/li>\n
  • Organize customer and contractor meetings to communicate project progress and resolve issues.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with global suppliers and engineering teams to ensure equipment delivery schedules and smooth project execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • College degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of industrial equipment installation, operation, service, and customer support.<\/li>\n
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and project coordination skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with robotic systems, conveyor systems, manual welding equipment, machining equipment, assembly equipment, presses, and test bench equipment.<\/li>\n
    • Japanese language ability is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
