About the Opportunity<\/h2>\n

A growing public accounting and advisory firm is seeking Bilingual Accounting Staff and Senior Accountants<\/strong> to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals at various experience levels who enjoy working with multiple clients, utilizing cloud-based accounting technology, and growing their careers in public accounting.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records<\/li>\n
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance<\/li>\n
  • Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank\/credit card reconciliations<\/li>\n
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules<\/li>\n
  • Support payroll processing and payroll compliance<\/li>\n
  • Prepare sales tax, property tax, and other compliance filings<\/li>\n
  • Support audit and tax engagements by preparing schedules and requested documentation<\/li>\n
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online and other cloud-based accounting systems<\/li>\n
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with system enhancements<\/li>\n
  • Provide timely, professional service while building strong client relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n
    • 0\u20135+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or public accounting experience<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles<\/li>\n
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software preferred<\/li>\n
    • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills<\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
    • CPA license or progress toward CPA is a plus<\/li>\n
    • Japanese language proficiency is required<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
