Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time, Onsite (40 hours\/week)<\/p>\n

A well-established global automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Controls System Engineer<\/strong> to support manufacturing automation, production equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving manufacturing processes, and working on a variety of automation projects in a hands-on production environment.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Design, troubleshoot, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment and electrical control systems<\/li>\n
  • Program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, VFDs, and servo drives<\/li>\n
  • Diagnose electrical and controls issues to minimize production downtime<\/li>\n
  • Design and modify control panels, wiring, and electrical circuits<\/li>\n
  • Lead automation, process improvement, and equipment upgrade projects<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and productivity<\/li>\n
  • Conduct equipment testing, process trials, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors on capital projects and equipment installations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    <\/h3>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline<\/li>\n
    • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, controls, or electrical engineering<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar platforms)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of HMI systems, VFDs, servo drives, encoders, and industrial automation<\/li>\n
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings<\/li>\n
    • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n
    • AutoCAD experience is a plus<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
