This position involves organizing, motivating and leading a sales team to reach sales targets. The Sales Manager also services existing accounts, managing distributors, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><u>Essential Functions<\/u><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Achieve targeted revenue, profit and growth targets established by the company on an annual and quarterly basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prospecting for new customers utilizing a wide variety of methods and approach.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cold calling to generate customer meetings as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintains and expands customer base by counseling distributors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintains good relationships with venders.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and\/or service changes; surveying customer needs and trends; tracking competitors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Implements trade promotions by exhibiting at tradeshows and evaluating trade spending.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prepare and deliver sales proposals\/presentations and follow up with distributors and key decision makers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Regularly communicate with Management Team to review weekly sales activities, and status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals, and status on deadlines.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Active networking in industry organizations and circles.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain current awareness of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform all other duties as assigned by the Management Team.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span 10pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><u>General Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Legally eligible to work in the United States.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 5 years outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><u>\u00a0(Machine tools and cutting tools)<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Good driving record.\u00a0Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p
