{"id":23804,"date":"2026-01-16T21:47:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T21:47:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/accounting-senior-manager-japanese-bilingual-2\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T23:46:25","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T23:46:25","slug":"061387","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/pasona.demoseek.us\/en\/job\/061387\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Senior Manager &#8211; Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Position : <\/strong><strong>Accounting Senior Manager <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Location:\u00a0Irving, TX <\/strong><span>75038<\/span><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> <\/strong><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">(Onsite)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Department:\u00a0Accounting <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Employment Type:\u00a0Full Time, Exempt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Salary:\u00a0$90k-150k <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, AD&amp;D, LTD, FSA, 401k with matching, Vacation, Sick Leave etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Position Summary:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lead and work hands-on with the Accounting team to manage all core accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll, and cash management.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective coordination with the parent company and external auditors.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Essential Functions<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tSupervise and develop Accounting team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPerform and review key accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, monthly and annual closings, and financial reporting to the parent company.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPrepare and review budgets, forecasts, and key financial analyses to support management decisions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and internal controls.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAct as liaison with the parent company, external auditors, and tax professionals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tHandle payroll accounting processes, including reviewing payroll data and preparing related journal entries and reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tManage day-to-day cash flows and maintain appropriate liquidity levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tReview and optimize accounting and related operational workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnhance accounting systems and drive process improvement initiatives for greater automation and reporting accuracy.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tEnsure all tax and compliance activities are completed properly and on time.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Secondary Functions<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPerform other duties as assigned.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tThe position requires 8+ years&#039; experience in an accounting position.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tBilingual in English and Japanese.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tDemonstrated ability to improve employee morale.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tExceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tStrong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tExceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tExceptional mathematical skills.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAbility to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWillingness to continue building skills through education opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tFamiliarity with budget planning and enforcement, and customer service procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tProficiency with computers, especially MS Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Working conditions:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Work is performed mainly both in an office and a remote environment. Travel is required when the company events take place.
