Position Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The organization is seeking a highly experienced General Manager for HR Operations<\/strong> to develop, lead, and optimize HR functions. This role will be instrumental in creating a positive employee relations environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and delivering exceptional service to employees and leadership. The GM will serve as a strategic leader, coach, and driver of employee engagement across the organization.<\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Employee Relations Strategy<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Create, implement, and oversee the Positive Employee Relations strategy.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor engagement levels and lead Pro-Employee initiatives.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure all employee relations policies and procedures are current, accurate, and accessible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Regulatory Compliance & Training<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Maintain awareness of evolving labor laws and regulations.<\/li>\n
      • Design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on Positive Employee Relations.<\/li>\n
      • Oversee and manage the Workers\u2019 Compensation Program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Leadership & Coaching<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Mentor and coach managers on employee relations and conflict resolution.<\/li>\n
        • Equip 100% of HR Specialists to conduct effective investigations with proper documentation.<\/li>\n
        • Lead large-scale, company-wide HR projects that improve the employee experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Investigations & Case Management<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Lead or oversee workplace investigations, ensuring timely, thorough, and well-documented outcomes.<\/li>\n
          • Prepare investigation reports with conclusions and recommended next steps.<\/li>\n
          • Manage authorized involuntary separations, prepare required communications, and coordinate with HR and other departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Compensation & Benefits<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Lead annual wage and benefit surveys in all operating communities.<\/li>\n
            • Ensure data supports competitive wage and benefit proposals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Additional Responsibilities<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.<\/li>\n
              • Oversee hiring, training, performance appraisals, discipline, and terminations.<\/li>\n
              • Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n
                  \n
                • Experience<\/strong>\n
                    \n
                  • 15+ years in HR Operations and\/or Positive Employee Relations.<\/li>\n
                  • 10+ years of leadership experience, including building high-performing teams and managing through change.<\/li>\n
                  • Proven record of fostering a positive workplace culture and engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • Education<\/strong>\n
                      \n
                    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in HR, Organizational Leadership, Management, or related field (preferred, not required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                    • Skills & Certifications<\/strong>\n
                        \n
                      • Strong conflict resolution capabilities.<\/li>\n
                      • Proficiency in HR technology and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).<\/li>\n
                      • HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                      • Other Requirements<\/strong>\n
                          \n
                        • Ability to travel up to 75% in year one, then up to 50% thereafter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
