Position Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our client, a growing Japanese logistics company specializing in import cargo (primarily ocean containers) and domestic transportation services is looking for a sales rep!<\/p>\n

You will begin your role as an Inside Sales Representative, working closely with an Outside Sales team member.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Based on performance and suitability, there is a future opportunity to transition into an Outside Sales role and take on more client-facing, relationship-driven responsibilities.<\/p>\n

\n<\/hr>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Inside Sales (initial role)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Obtain rates from vendors<\/li>\n
  • Prepare quotations<\/li>\n
  • Communicate with customers on a daily basis<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with an Outside Sales representative to manage accounts and opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Future \u2010Outside Sales (based on suitability)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Manage existing client relationships and conduct new business development<\/li>\n
    • Propose solutions for ocean import and domestic logistics services<\/li>\n
    • Perform problem-solving\u2013focused sales activities and basic market research<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n<\/hr>\n

      Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Minimum 2 years of professional working experience (industry experience not required) OR<\/u><\/strong> Prior experience in the logistics industry<\/li>\n
      • Japanese communication ability preferred (not mandatory)<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
      • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities<\/li>\n
      • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
