{"id":23499,"date":"2025-12-19T20:07:28","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T20:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pasona.aukrim.net\/job\/senior-sales-manager-new-business-development\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T17:24:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T17:24:43","slug":"061244","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/pasona.demoseek.us\/en\/job\/061244\/","title":{"rendered":"SENIOR SALES MANAGER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px\">Sr. Sales Manager\/New Business Development (Japanese Bilingual)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Company: A Japan-based global manufacturer specializing in proprietary advanced material technologies, providing various functional material solutions to customers across automotive, electronics, industrial, and other manufacturing industries worldwide. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Location: Cupertino, CA <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Work Style: On-Site\/Hybrid may be available, but NO Remote <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Salary Range: Base $150K + Incentive 50K+<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Benefit: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401K, Paid holidays\/vacation<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>General Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a motivated Sr. Sales Manager\/New Business Development to develop new business and expand sales of proprietary functional material solutions in the North American market.<\/p>\n<p>This role focuses on new account development across targeted industries and requires close collaboration with management and overseas headquarters.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and develop new accounts, including regional sales representatives, distributors, and direct customers<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets and industries to achieve aggressive sales goals<\/li>\n<li>Manage and grow customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities, contact reports, and correspondence in the designated CRM\/database<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in assigned projects, working groups, and internal initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings as directed by management<\/li>\n<li>Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to keep management informed of activities and progress<\/li>\n<li>Perform all duties under the direction of the President and\/or overseas headquarters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Education and\/or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience<\/li>\n<li>5\u201310 years of experience in sales, account management, or program management within manufacturing, materials, or engineering-related industries<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing new business and opening new accounts (hunter mindset)<\/li>\n<li>Valid U.S. driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling to or working with OEM industry: semiconductor, electronics, industrial equipment, or manufacturing companies is highly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Japanese conversational skills are required (ability to communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong ability to develop and execute strategic business engagement plans<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand, translate, and communicate technical requirements and customer needs<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with a proactive, results-driven, and prospecting mindset<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills<\/li>\n<li>Program and account management capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to quickly learn proprietary materials, products, and technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NO REMOTE Base&#8211;
