5pm (with some flexibility)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 12px;font-family: sans-serif\">Report To: Manager, Sales Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">*7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Forecasting &amp; Production Planning, Finance &amp; Cost Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">*Knowledge of <\/strong><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">SQL, Excel, VBA, Maplnfo, CRM, ERP computer programming and relational databases<\/strong><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">*Business+ level in Japanese and English<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">*BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Logistics, Finance or Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\">*APICS certification or CPA is a plus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif;font-size: 12px\"><u>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Create aggregate monthly sales forecast by model for assigned product class\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Prepare monthly inventory plan by model for assigned product class\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Forecast sales demand by product class and SKU\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Prepare monthly inventory plan by SKU\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Prepare and compile sales\/margin reports related to assigned product class or requested business unit data\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Maintain distribution warehouse inventory levels\u00a0based on established lead times while managing within approved budget\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Maintain working relationships with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure smooth product flow to the customer\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Manage phase-in and phase-out of new product introductions and transitions\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Analyze large amounts of sales and inventory data to make proficient production decisions at the SKU level\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Communicate across all business disciplines both verbally and written\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Gather, compile and analyze data from various sources, including offsite sales personnel in the field\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Assist in annual planning and preparation of tools\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Create\/maintain sales\/margin reports that assist key sales management personnel throughout business unit\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif\"><u>Nature and Scope:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Works within knowledge\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">May provide guidance<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif\"><u>Knowledge and Skills:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Working knowledge of finance-cost accounting, forecasting and planning methodologies\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to build and maintain complex computer applications and programs that perform analysis, organize data &amp; create reports from various sources\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Knowledge of relational databases and the ability to create stored procedures\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, forecasting, and probability modeling\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Advanced Excel skills and strong in Access\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Must have strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills, high level of attention to detail\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Excellent written\/verbal communication and presentation skills\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Ability to apply good judgement, decision making skills and strong work ethics and integrity on the job\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">Customer focus, sales, presentation and negotiation skills, comfortable in working with C-level executives\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">In-depth knowledge of SQL, Excel, VBA, Maplnfo, CRM, ERP computer programming and relational databases\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: sans-serif\"><u>Experience:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif\">7+ years of experience in: Quantitative business analysis, Forecasting &amp;
