Import Customs Compliance Coordinator

Position: Customs Compliance Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $23-25/hour (DOE)

Our client, a Japanese logistics company is looking for a Customs Compliance Coordinator to support import customs operations. This position starts as a temporary role with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entry documents
• Review shipping and import/export documents
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and government regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and related parties regarding customs clearance

Qualifications:

• Experience in customs brokerage, import, or logistics preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required
