Position Overview

A temporary Procurement / Logistics Administrative Assistant is needed to support purchasing and logistics operations related to electrical materials. This position will assist with supplier communications, quotation preparation, order processing, delivery tracking, and shipping documentation for international shipments to Japan.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support procurement and purchasing activities for electrical materials
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, purchase orders, and delivery schedules
  • Assist with preparing quotations and purchase orders
  • Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries
  • Coordinate shipment arrangements and logistics activities
  • Prepare and maintain international shipping documentation
  • Enter and maintain procurement and logistics data accurately
  • Assist with general administrative duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, office support, or coordinator experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or order processing
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or import/export operations
  • Experience working with suppliers and vendors
  • Experience preparing quotations and purchase orders
  • Experience working in a Japanese business environment
  • Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
