A global Japanese trading company specializing in plastics and packaging materials is seeking an Administrative Assistant.
Summary of position:
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office. This role involves managing daily office tasks, coordinating communication, and assisting team members and management with organizational activities. Effectively communicate if any problems arise from conducting these job duties.
Responsibilities include:
• Office administration and supply management
• Basic IT troubleshooting and coordination with HQ/vendors
• Employee onboarding and HR-related support
• Managing company car registration and insurance
• Maintaining contracts and approved credit limits in SAP
• Processing employee expense reimbursements in SAP
• Supporting management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1–3 years of work experience in the U.S.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
•Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required; Japanese language skills are a plus.
