A Chemical company is looking for a Logistics Coordinator temp staff.

This is FULL REMOTE position.

Hourly rate : $23-24

Hours: Mon-Fri / 3-4 hours per day / US Eastern time

Duration: long term

Employment type: Temp, Part-time

Other: Able to work from June to September without taking long vacation. (You can take vacation in other season.)

Logistics Support Functions

Take orders, issue purchase orders, prepare shipping documents, and issue invoices.

• Manage and follow up on status of order shipments.

• Correspond with customers, customs brokers and suppliers about orders and related matters, making sure that all issues and inquiries are solved by following through any necessary actions.

• Create documents for customs/government submission.

• Verify and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and their procedure and documentation.

• Process all bills of lading, letters of credit, customs, and other documents as needed.

• Process payments, prepare receipts, and initiate billing procedures.

• Update shipping schedules when necessary and inform the necessary parties, including customers, vendors, suppliers, shippers, and staff.

• Update and maintain inventory sheet.

• Serve as a backup when needed (e.g., in the absence of colleague) and work/coordinate with other employees to perform tasks to ensure seamless operations of the company

General Administrative Functions

• Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.

• Make travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.

• Screen phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.

• Use computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.

• Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

• Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.

• Assist supervisor with other administrative duties as necessary.

• Experience and knowledge of logistics is preferred but not mandatory.

• Japanese language is preferred but not necessary.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms, and instructions in

English.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, weight, and volume.

• Ability to use a computer and such applications as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook

• Must be able to work in a cross-cultural environment.
