Entry Writer

A Japanese logistics company is seeking a Licensed Customhouse Broker with 3–5 years of experience to join Customs Brokerage Department.

We are seeking an Entry Writer to support import customs brokerage operations and logistics coordination. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and government agencies to ensure the smooth, compliant movement of cargo. We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in becoming a licensed Customhouse Broker in the near future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs declarations and ensure accuracy of import documentation
• Coordinate shipments across air, ocean, and trucking with carriers and customers
• Track shipments and manage delivery and pickup schedules
• Provide pricing quotations and support customer communications
• Handle billing processes, invoicing support, and freight charge verification
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and industry requirements (TSA, CTPAT, etc.)
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and maintain accurate operational data
• Support internal reporting and assist accounting functions as needed

Qualifications:

• 0–1 year of related experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Interest in customs brokerage and professional certification development

Work hours :9:00AM -6:00PM
