A Japanese company is looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual Interpreter to support communication between Japanese- and English-speaking team members in a sake brewery. This role is primarily focused on interpretation, while also assisting with hands-on production activities and light administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Provide Japanese-English interpretation during daily manufacturing operations.
Support communication between Japanese and local staff.
Assist with the traditional sake brewing process, including rice preparation, fermentation, and bottling.
Provide accounting support when needed, including:
Processing vendor payments
Organizing invoices and receipts
Preparing information for the external accounting firm
Qualifications
Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Detail-oriented and willing to learn.
Previous interpretation experience is preferred but not required.
