We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and office administration for a growing manufacturing organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business operations, and maintaining compliance while working closely with executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Approximately 10+ years of accounting experience (less experience may be considered for strong candidates).
  • Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for daily accounting operations and month-end closing.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • General ledger
    • Month-end closing
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Cash flow management
    • Inventory accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel to production facilities and suppliers may be required.
  • Flexibility to participate in early morning or evening meetings with international business partners when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate monthly financial closing and prepare reports for the parent company.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
  • Monitor company cash flow and assist with payment planning.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial records.
  • Maintain inventory records in QuickBooks and reconcile system inventory with physical inventory.
  • Create quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders using QuickBooks.
  • Support budgeting, sales forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external financial audits.
  • Process payroll and support employee benefits administration.
  • Prepare payroll tax filings and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain company asset and liability records.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors regarding financial system support and data backups.
  • Provide administrative support to company operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
  • May be assigned other duties by managers.
