Territory Sales Manager -Industrial Gas
Location: Rochester, NY (Field-Based)
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Commission

About the Role
A growing industrial gas solutions company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive business growth across the assigned territory. This is an outside sales role focused on developing new business, building long-term customer relationships, and expanding market share.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented sales professional with experience selling industrial products or technical solutions. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the territory
- Identify new sales opportunities through market and industry research
- Promote the company's industrial gas products and solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing
- Track opportunities, sales activities, and forecasts using Salesforce CRM
- Achieve and exceed territory sales and revenue goals
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in industrial gases, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or other technical industries is highly preferred
- Proven success in new business development and managing long sales cycles
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Must reside within the assigned geographic territory
