Our client, a growing Japanese comapany is looking for a Supply Management Support who can Support purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination for multiple restaurant locations. This role works closely with the Culinary Supply team to ensure ingredients and supplies are ordered accurately and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and coordinate deliveries
Monitor inventory and conduct monthly inventory counts
Communicate with vendors regarding orders and deliveries
Resolve invoice and purchasing discrepancies
Prepare purchasing and inventory reports using Excel and ERP systems
Visit restaurant locations and suppliers as needed
Qualifications
Required
1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience
Strong Excel skills
Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to travel within California
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred
Restaurant, hospitality, or food distribution experience
Japanese-English bilingual
Experience with Japanese cuisine or specialty foods
