Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk – Temporary

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Employment Type: Temporary (3-month assignment)

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to provide accounting and clerical support within a busy accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting and clerical support functions for the AP department
  • Sort, scan, and file AP documents including invoices and payment support documentation
  • Prepare and organize files for storage
  • Enter AP invoice data accurately into the system
  • Maintain customer resale certificate records
  • Assist with payment processing, including check runs
  • Support administrative tasks such as postage and mailing
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365 applications
